Jukka Sakari "Jay" Lewis (née Homi, born 22 April 1963 in Helsinki) is a musician from Tampere, Finland. He is the singer-bassist of the Jay Lewis Gang. In the past, he has played in bands such as Yö (1999-2016), Oz, Masque, Sarcofagus, Princess Pang, The Chiefs, Skin 'n' Bones and Billion Dollar Babies.During his career, Jukka Lewis has also lived in the United States and Sweden. His first solo album, Jay Lewis: Manhattan Files, was released in October 2007.His second solo album, Beat the Elite, was released in June 2009.[4] Jukka Lewis has also sung on some of the songs on Night's albums, including "Karheaa ja beautista" (2003), "Deadline" (2007) and "Oikee Engel" (2005). Lewis has also sung an English version of the 2003 song "Rakkaus on snow white" under the title "Love Me Like You Never Did Before".In addition to his own solo work, Lewis has also worked as a songwriter for bands such as Yö and The Neropats, as well as for Costello Hautamäki's English-language productions.In December 2016, Lewis and guitarist Asko "Daffy" Terävä, who had been with Yö since 2000, were separated from the band. Lewis filed a lawsuit against Olli Lindholm for wrongful termination, but lost the case and was ordered to pay 26 000 euros in legal costs,[7] which were paid in full by the Finnish Musicians' Union.After being fired from Yö, Lewis formed a new band, Jay Lewis Gang, in late 2016, together with guitarist Daffy Terävä, who was also fired from Yö. Frogley, who also played in Yö, is the drummer and Jani Kemppinen, who played in Popeda, plays keyboards. On 9 January 2017, the band released a single and video entitled "Flame".In October 2019, a 360-page biography of Froggy, written by himself and published by Bazar, was released, titled Night to Light.

First in Sweden an then in New york. During the current millenium they did a sizable career as the basist and the singer of Yö. "Manhattan Files" is a collection of songs they made in New York during the 90's. "Beat The Elite!" is pure melodic hard rock from the early 2000's. "Manhattan Files" is sold out but "Beat The Elite" is still available in our online store. Streaming will be available later.
