In the press release for Aeon Empire, you can read that the band is from Austria. But if you take a look at the line-up, you will discover three members of the Slovakian band Signum Regis: bassist Ronnie König, guitarist Filip Koluš and singer Jota Fortinho and one from Czechia Radim Večeřa on drums. Little else is known about the band.Three singles have been released so far. Now the self-titled debut album is on its way..."Aeon Empire" (2025).

Super melodic hard rock / AOR debut album with three members of the Slovakian band Signum Regis: bassist Ronnie König, guitarist Filip Koluš and singer Jota Fortinho.The opener ‘All Your Dreams’ is a lively introduction to the album. Fine melodic rock. Singer Jota Fortinho is just as convincing here as on Signum Regis. ‘Sitting On A Wall’ is also melodic metal with a slight AOR edge in the chorus. The collaboration between the two guitarists is impressive. Like the opening song, ‘Waiting In The Rain’ has already been presented as a single and with a video. This time, the musicians take it a little easier. Big stadium rock. The melodic ‘Push The Clouds Away’ is a little faster again. ‘Once In A Lifetime’ starts as a ballad. The singer is briefly accompanied by acoustic guitars. But here, too, AOR strikes later. With ‘Stallion’, the musicians switch to rockier realms. This continues with ‘Waiting To Feel Good!’. Once again, the guitarists Filip Koluš and Jimi Cimbala play together brilliantly. ‘Gloom’ then rocks off again. The riffs just bang out of the speakers. The vocals are also a little rougher at times. The crowning glory is a strong guitar solo. ‘Liars And Fools’ once again offers very good melodic rock. Afterwards, ‘Fell In Love’ spreads a lot of good humour. The album ends with the ballad ‘Set Aflame This Cold World’.Aeon Empire's debut album is a real treat for fans of melodic rock and AOR. Recorded by outstanding musicians. The three Signum Regis musicians alone are a guarantee of quality. But their two comrades-in-arms are no worse.
