I recently located Lost and Found's cassette tape in the HMEA archives. For your enjoyment on Brian's birthday, here is a blast from his past… the song “No Greater Love” from his 1984 HMEA album Soldiers of Light.Something unique that I will never forget about Lost and Found's Soldiers of Light album was his introduction to the final song. Just before the last song starts, Brian shares a quick gospel message encouraging the listener to take the messages in the songs to heart and and seek the Lord. Originally released in 1988, this rare Christian melodic rock / AOR CD is one of the very first releases on Retrospect's new subsidiary label RETROCROSS Records that is dedicated to preserving 80's Christian rock!! And what a release it is! This California-based six piece band sports a superb balance of keyboards, tasty rockin' guitars and amazing vocal harmonies!! This elusive CD has garnered rave reviews throughout the years and has become almost impossible to find...until now. Digitally remastered with 2 fantastic previously unreleased bonus demo tracks!! For fans of: Lamarca, Diamond In The Rough, Lance Powers, B.E.Taylor Group, Fair Exchange, Roadmaster, Justin Sayne, Redstone, Gideon's Army, Beau Coup, Bystander, Allies, Illustrator, White Heart etc..The cover looks metal but this is actually a AOR album which leans New Wave at times and Rock and Roll at other times. It lacks a consistent sound but because it’s so well done that’s irrelevant.The albums producer doesn’t appear to have ever produced an album other than this one so kudos to him for doing such a great job.This one is a must listen to !!
