Hawkwind fans! This incredible project brings together a host of former members and associates of the Hawkwind family including longtime bassist Alan Davey, co-founder Nik Turner, original bassist Lemmy Kilmister, drummer Ginger Baker, violinist Simon House, original guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton, Paul Rudolph and many more! Space rock project led by Alan Davey comprising various ex-members of Hawkwind. Cleopatra suggested the idea of bringing together exHawks to Alan Davey and then gave free reign to contact everyone, write the songs, mix, and produce the whole project. The project now stretches beyond the initial concept, with additional side guess joining the ex-Hawks such as William Shatner who can be heard reimagining Hawkwind classics such as Sonic Attack.One of the unique features of this concept is the posthumous performances that Alan Davey has mixed into the albums, it truly works. Hawkfans old and new are able to relive new, but classically Hawkwind sounds.

Just check out the album’s first single, a transformation of Robert Calvert’s “Evil Rock” from his 1981 album with the brilliant Mick Taylor lending his prodigious six-string talents.And check out the engrossing, hypnotic lyric video that brings the song to life.Chaos Rocks will be available on all formats including CD, vinyl and digital beginning on April 12. The CD version even features bonus tracks of songs that have never before appeared on physical format and include special guests Ginger Baker, Geoff Downes, Adam Hamilton and more!
