Modern arena rock from Gothenburg, Sweden.Seventh Crystal, a stunning new rock band from the fertile Swedish music scene, was put together by singer Kristian Fyhr (Perpetual Etude). Initially, Kristian wanted to pursue a solo project, but when the songs started to take form, he realized he wanted to involve more musicians. So, he moved to vocals only and brought in Johan Älvsång (Pinstripe Conspiracy, Lamashtu) on keyboards/piano and Olof Gadd (Osukaru) on bass as the first key pieces, and then recruited Anton Roos on drums and Emil Dornerus on guitar to complete the line-up.

Seventh Crystal's music can best be described as arena rock with melodic rock influences. In the words of Kristian Fyhr: "I would describe the band's music as an 'intelligent' rock style, but still very melodic. My songwriting is very varied. I like starting a song in a pop style and then beefing it up and making it rock. I am a big admirer of the Cheiron Studio and Max Martin, so my influences come mainly from there. Then of course all the other guys in the band bring their own influences and the result is totally Seventh Crystal!"If you love the new wave of Scandinavian hard rock embodied by bands such as One Desire, H.e.a.t and other bands who bring a huge sense of melody to modern rock, then this band is going to be right up your alley. Their forthcoming debut album will be hard to top as the debut album of 2021.

Swedish melodic hard rockers SEVENTH CRYSTAL are releasing today a new EP entitled ”Infinity” via Frontiers Music. It follows their much praised ‘Wonderland’ album issued earlier this year.“Infinity actually came about while we were recording Wonderland,” reveals drummer Anton Roos. “And instead of putting the songs on the album as bonus, we felt that these songs had a life of their own and deserved a place of their own. It’s an EP where we take a bit of a turn”.Yes, indeed the songs on ”Infinity” are a bit different from the last full album. There’s a more melodic rock approach, less harder. In fact, most of the new songs on this EP are better than the previous material written by the band.I mean, on ‘Wonderland’ SEVENTH CRYSTAL the band balanced the record with heavy / modern sounding tracks with more melodic, arena-rock type of tunes. We think the band excels when the go smooth, melodic.The melodic hard rock style on ‘Infinity’ suits great for SEVENTH CRYSTAL, a band with skilled musicians able to create a more accessible rocking sound. And production is excellent.

Seventh Crystal, who stormed on the melodic rock scene in 2021 since their stunning debut album "Delirium", have announced the release of their third full-length, "Entity".Seventh Crystal took everything up a major level (or two, really), "Entity" sees the bands exploring and expanding different genres, bringing their melodic rock formula, to progressive rock fields, sometimes little heavier and back to their unique rock style.Seventh Crystal is a melodic hard rock band from Gothenburg formed by Kristian Fyhr in 2019. What started as a solo project by Kristian quickly grew into a larger endeavor when Johan Älvsång and Olof Gadd joined the project. Shortly after, Anton Roos and Emil Dornerus also joined the band, completing the initial lineup. In 2020 the band signed a deal with Frontiers Records and released their debut album "Delirium" in 2021, which made waves all around the world. Due to the guitar-heavy parts on the album, the band realized they needed one more guitarist to be able to perform the songs live. Gustav Linde, an old friend of Anton Roos, took on the job, and the band began to work on their slightly more guitar-oriented follow-up album "Wonderland."The album "Wonderland" was released in 2023 alongside the EP "Infinity," establishing the band as an act to be reckoned with. During the fall, Johan Älvsång decided to step aside, and the band continued as a five-piece into the recordings of a third album.Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, from soft rock to hard-hitting heavy metal, Seventh Crystal showcases a diverse range of musical expression. The band aims to be authentic and serve as an inspiration, outlet, and escape for their audience. Their sound is characterized by bombastic productions, catchy hooks, and dramatic and emotional melodies.
