Stanley Simmons is an Americana and rock duo formed in early 2025 by Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, the respective sons of legendary KISS members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.Evan Stanley is the son of Paul Stanley, and Nick Simmons is the son of Gene Simmons. Both have individual backgrounds in the entertainment and music industry Evan as the frontman for the rock group Amber Wild and Nick as a solo artist.The project began casually in early 2025 when the two started jamming and posting stripped-down vocal harmony covers on social media.The moniker "Stanley Simmons" combines their last names, representing a shared musical voice and their family roots rather than a corporate gimmick.The duo leans into rootsy Americana, folk, and '60s-influenced psychedelic rock, highlighting acoustic instrumentation and rich vocal harmonies.Their songwriting draws from traditional blues, timeless storytelling, and classic harmony-driven groups like Simon & Garfunkel and the Eagles.

Stanley Simmons, the duo comprised of Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons (sons of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS), have announced their debut album, Dancing While the World Is Ending, set for release on August 28th.The band has already released the singles “Body Down” and the album’s title track, and recently announced its first-ever live shows, a run of four California gigs set to kick off May 4th in San Diego.A third single, “Temporary Love,” will be released on May 8th, with the duo offering a preview of the song in a brief social media clip (see below). The tune is the first song that Evan and Nick ever wrote together.While they are the sons of KISS legends, Stanley Simmons’ music sounds nothing like that of their fathers’ famous band. The vibe is more folk-rock, with hints of Simon & Garfunkel and ’60s psychedelia.Proud father Paul Stanley told WCSX, “It’s amazing that totally organically, Evan, my son and Nick, Gene’s son, about a year ago started making music together. They’ve known each other their whole lives, but this bond they’ve had with music and this album they’ve done is crazy good. I heard it and I just went ‘wow, this is nuts.’ And it’s nothing like KISS, but it’s so smart and the writing is great.”
