4Bitten is a hard rock/heavy band from Athens, Greece. Influenced by some of the rock titans of the last 4 decades was originally formed in 2002. Each member had previously played in bands & lead vocalist, Fofi Roussos, learned her art in the mid-west of the United States before relocating to Greece. Having cut their teeth on the club circuit in Greece, the band's initial breakthrough happened in 2008 when Rock Hard magazine selected them to perform a track on their Kiss tribute album. Although 4Bitten was in its' early stages as a recording artist, they had without a doubt earned their stripes on the road & were more than ready to raise their game.After their first album “No More Sins” released in 2009 from the UK label Rocksector Records, 4Bitten toured the UK twice in 2009 and 2010 in a total of 35 shows including dates with Michael Schenker Group, Dave Evans(AC DC) and Dan Reed. Following the UK tours 4Bitten played in Athens as a support to NWOBHM heroes The Tygers Of Pan Tang & also toured Greece opening for former-Iron Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley.In April 2012 their second album entitled “Delirium” released and following that the band toured the UK and Europe with the rock legends UFO in February-March 2013 in a total of 23 dates. 4Bitten also opened the shows in Greece for bands like The Devil’s Blood, Firewind, Spiritual Beggars, Uriah Heep and Uli Jon Roth and played in festivals such as SOS Festival in Manchester, Wizz Festival in Belgium and Total Metal Open Air in Italy.
Album:
On the album’s eleven tracks the band seems that has progressed and evolved, comparing to its two previous albums. There are no ballads here, neither a sign of a slow, or even medium tempo. From ,,Die In Vain” which opens the album, to ,,Comfort Zone” which concludes it 4Bitten deliver a fresh, American flavoured album, armed with deadly guitar riffs, a killer vocal performance, devastating speed, great production and powerful grooves that will definitely will make some heads bang.
