SEBASTIEN is a melodic power metal band with symphonic and progressive influences. In 2010 the debut album "TEARS OF WHITE ROSES" (produced by Roland Grapow) is released via ESCAPE Music Ltd.CD also features seven special star-guests: Amanda Somerville, Apollo Papathanasio, Doogie White, Fabio Lione, Mike DiMeo, Roland Grapow and Tore Moren. The album is rewarded with enthusiastic reviews worldwide!SEBASTIEN is on the first real tour (in the Czech Republic and Slovakia) during the autumn 2011. The band also appears on another gigs with SERENITY (Austria), ELVENKING (It), VICIOUS RUMORS (USA) and FATES WARNING (USA). One of the biggest events in the history of SEBASTIEN so far is their appearance on the main "Ronnie James Dio Stage" of mighty MASTERS OF ROCK festival in July 2012 (with three guests there on stage: Roland Grapow, Apollo Papathanasio and Katie Joanne). Till the end of 2012 SEBASTIEN is also playing shows with AXXIS (Ger) and then with JORN LANDE (Nor). In August 2012 the band starts the first European tour with CIRCLE II CIRCLE (USA). It's called the „Tour Of Magellan 2012”. The first video of SEBASTIEN is released later in August 2012. It is made for a song "Dorian" and both album-guests of this song (Fabio Lione and Roland Grapow) appear there. Another step in SEBASTIEN’s career is a cooperation with German BALLROOM HAMBURG agency. In July 2013 the band wins a competition and appears as a support band of ALICE COOPER (USA) in Kajot Arena (Brno, CZ). In the Autumn of 2013 SEBASTIEN goes to the second European tour – the band becomes a part of MASTERPLAN‘s „Novum Initium Tour 2013“ (also with MYSTIC PROPHECY and SIREN’S CRY on board).In 2014 band plays the next big gig on MASTERS OF ROCK’s main stage – this time with Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH) as a special guest. On November 2014 SEBASTIEN goes to GRAPOW STUDIOS again to finish the mix of the second album, which is called "DARK CHAMBERS OF DÉJÀ VU".

SEBASTIEN is a melodic power metal band with symphonic and progressive influences. The band was born on roots of another heavy metal group, NAVAR, with an ambition to catch the worldwide interest, in 2008.In November 2009 the band went to Grapow Studios (Slovakia) to record the album "Tears Of White Roses" which was produced by Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN) himself! The album feat. various guest performances incl. Amanda Somerville (AVANTASIA, KISKE/SOMERVILLE), Apollo Papathanasio (ex-FIREWIND), Doogie White (ex-RAINBOW), Fabio Lione (RHAPSODY OF FIRE), Mike DiMeo (ex-MASTERPLAN, ex-RIOT), Roland Grapow (MASTERPLAN, ex-HELLOWEEN) and Tore Moren (ex-JORN LANDE).During Autumn 2011, SEBASTIEN went on the first real tour (in the Czech Republic and Slovakia) with EAGLEHEART (CZ) and FLOWERWHILE (CZ). They also appeared on more gigs with SERENITY, ELVENKING, VICIOUS RUMORS, FATES WARNING and at MASTERS OF ROCK in July 2012. One live-song was also released on the official Masters of Rock DVD 2012. In August 2012 the band started its first European tour withCIRCLE II CIRCLE and played some more shows with AXXIS and with JORN LANDE. The band found a new permanent drummer - Lucas R. - and played the first show with the new line-up at METALFEST 2013 before they went on tour in 2013 with MASTERPLAN, MYSTIC PROPHECY & SIREN'S CRY.The first half of 2014 was spent with finishing the upcoming second album, concert activities in the Czech Republic and Austria,and also with preparations for the next big gig on MASTERS OF ROCK's main stage ' this time with Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH) as a special guest! This huge show happened in July and, besides the legend - Tony Martin, also Roland Grapow, Martin 'Marthus' Skaroupka and Marlin Rya Poemy showed themselves. The band performed two of legendary BLACK SABBATH songs: 'Headless Cross' and 'Nightwing'!InNovember 2014 SEBASTIEN went to Grapow Studios again to finish the mix of the new album 'Dark Chambers of D'j' vu' which will be released on Pride & Joy Music/ Edel on September 25th, 2015 and includes guest performances by Tony Martin (Black Sabbath), Sergey Baidikov (Inner Fear), Zak Stevens (CircleIICircle, Savatage), Roland Grapow (Masterplan) and Aylin Gimenez (Sirenia)

This brand-new CD of Sebastien is going to be released worldwide as digipak via German record label Pride & Joy Music, on February 23, 2018! The cover artwork is once again created by Slovakian graphic studio DisArt Design. The album is self-produced, recorded in the bands' own studio, called Dark Chamber Sounds, with two special guest singers: Apollo Papathanasio (Spiritual Beggars, ex-Firewind) and Mayo Petranin (Signum Regis). George Rain's bandmate from Czech metal legend Citron, Djordje Eri?, recorded a guitar solo in one song. Last, but not least, there are also two female vocalists: Kristýna Dostálová and Vendula Skalová.Sebastien already co-operated with artists like Tony Martin (ex-Black Sabbath), Amanda Somerville (Avantasia), Ailyn Giménez (ex-Sirenia), Zak Stevens (Savatage), Roland Grapow (Masterplan, Kreyson, ex-Helloween, …he produced Sebastien's first two albums) or Fabio Lione (Rhapsody, Angra). The band did two European tours, played with Alice Cooper, appeared on Masters Of Rock festival's main stage (three times so far), or on Wacken Open Air 2016!"Act Of Creation" promises melodic and dynamic metal music with strong choruses and great lyrics!

Just one year ago the Melodic Metallers SEBASTIEN gave us their album "Art Of Creation". To bridge the gap until the next long groove and keep the fans happy, the Czechs are now pursuing a 4-track EP titled "Behind The World". If one could settle the still current longplayer still calm conscience in the metal range, then tend the new songs nevertheless rather in the direction (hard) rock.This is reflected above all in the sound of the quintet, because the two guitarists, who according to the lineup should be represented, are mostly discreet. In the eponymous opener, the six-string faction is actually only the solo, in the subsequent "Fight For Love" most likely in the instrumental parts between the verses to advantage, while in the final ballad "Mirror On The Wall" virtually no guitars are to be made out. Instead, the tracks held in the mid-tempo are predominantly dominated by keyboard sounds, only in "Sweet Desire" are friends of well-kept guitar music finally rudimentary at their expense.On the other hand, the guys from our eastern neighbor score with extremely catchy hooks and choruses, after which many a genre colleague would lick all fingers. Particularly noteworthy is the "Fight For Love" sung in duet with "Beast In Black" frontman Yannis Papadopoulos, with whom the band has made a real highlight. And the idea of ​​incorporating a melody reminiscent of the James Bond theme in "Sweet Desire" here and there in the background may be a bit cheeky, but also a bit cool. "Mirror On The Wall" might have been a bit too kitschy for one or the other, but the number is not that bad.All in all, "Behind The World" definitely whets the appetite for the upcoming album. However, I would wish that the songs turn out a bit more guitar-heavy again, which ultimately prevented a higher score. But from the songwriting the guys are on a good way!
