Nasty Ratz - I Don't Wanna Care (EP) (2014)
Year : 2014
Style : Hard Rock , Glam Metal
Country : Czech Republic
Audio : 320 kbps + all scans + Video
Size : 134 mb
Bio:
The band NASTY RATZ started in Prague (CZ), September 13th, 2012. In the beginning, Jake Widow (behind the microphone and rhythm/lead guitar) and Rikki Wild (behind the drums) started a band based on powerful stage performances using pyros, make-up and wild music with a punk rock vibe. The inspiration was pretty clear. Rikki’s drum parts were rolling like a stone and their influences such as Phil Rudd, Eric Singer etc. were more and more hearable. Also, Jake’s pitching the high notes could remind KISS, Mötley Crüe, Crashdïet and more. Despite the lack of respect from the critics, NASTY RATZ have had more and more shows and it took only few months to get outside their home country.Unfortunately, the band was being slowed down by endless changes of the lineup. Fortunately, it still didn’t mean a small number of the played shows. That was probably the reason that Nasty Ratz got a chance to play a few times with ADAM BOMB (USA), JunkYard 69 (GR), SANDNESS (IT) etc. in the Czech Republic and with CRAZY LIXX (SWE), THE LAST VEGAS (USA), CONFESS (SWE) in Germany during the first year of band’s existence. In the beginning of December, 2013, the band met for the rehearsal with the current guitarist Stevie Gunn. His licks became more difficult and Stevie became quickly respected by all the fans as the best guitarist, who had ever hit the band. After a few rehearsals, Nasty Ratz got an offer to play in Leipzig, Germany. Unfortunately, the bass player quit the band one week before the show. The band was more than lucky because his post was taken by Serpenth of the black metal legend BELPHEGOR for this show. He also recorded the band’s 1st EP called “I Don’t Wanna Care” which became pretty popular around the glam/sleaze underground scene all around the world. The first 500 pieces were sold out in half a year. Following few shows were played in 3 (without a bass player) or with guesting players (for example another show in Germany with THE LAST VEGAS (USA), CONFESS (SWE), SHOCKING! HAZARD (UK) until May 2014 when Tommy Christen came and brought the instrumental part of “Angel In Me” which was finished by Jake’s melody and Steve’s rearranging of guitar works. It just prepared the youtube channel for uploading the very first official videoclip called “N.A.S.T.Y.” Soon after that, Jake Widow has quit playing the guitar and has become singer only. In May 2015, the band started recording the full-lengh album called “First Bite” which was recorded for money of fans participating pledge campaign. Plus, the album is released by a bigger label “Sleaszy Rider” worldwide..

Nasty Ratz - Second Chance (2019)
Year : 2019
Style : Hard Rock , Glam Sleaze Metal
Country : Czech Republic
Audio : 320 kbps + scans
Size : 134 mb
Bio:
The band NASTY RATZ started in Prague (CZ), September 13th, 2012. The inspiration was pretty clear. Nasty Ratz are often described like a bastard baby of KISS and Guns N’Roses. Needless to say, Nasty Ratz have always wanted to the music their way. Despite the lack of respect from the critics, NASTY RATZ have had more and more shows and it took only few months to get outside their home country.Unfortunately, the band was being slowed down by endless changes of the lineup. Fortunately, it still didn’t mean a small number of the played shows. That was probably the reason that Nasty Ratz got a chance to play a few times with ADAM BOMB (USA), JunkYard 69 (GR), SANDNESS (IT) etc. in the Czech Republic and with CRAZY LIXX (SWE), TIGERTAILZ (UK), BAI BANG (SWE), THE LAST VEGAS (USA), CONFESS (SWE), TOXICROSE (SWE).The band continues playing in venues all around Europe as headliners and co-headliners (for example for bands like BlackRain, ToxicRose etc.). Currently they are working on their second studio album already signed with Sleaszy Rider Records.2017 brought a new single which was produced by legendary Beau Hill, who contacted band himself. The tune is called “Price Of Love” and helped Nasty Ratz to get a stronger position in the field of music industry. In 2018, Nasty Ratz released other two videos “Poetic Justice” and “Against The World”. The band has kept touring with bigger bands (Green Jelly, Tigertailz, BlackRain, SISTER and MANY more), but also as a headliner all around the EUROPE
Album:
Eighties sleazy glam rockers NASTY RATZ consisting of founding member and frontman Jake Widow along with new members — lead guitarist Jordy Riot, bassist Xriss String and drummer Randy Dee — will be releasing their new studio album “Second Chance?” on December 13, 2019.This is the band’s second effort where seems the new guys on the block have brought a new attitude to Nasty Ratz: better musicianship and a true Sunset Strip spirit. In August 2017, three quarters of Nasty Ratz — lead guitarist Stevie Gunn, bassist Nikki Allin and drummer Rikki Wild — quit the band leaving only frontman Jake Widow as the lone man standing. Gunn, Allin and Wild later that year went on to announce the formation of the group Double Raw with lead vocalist Peter Duff. Double Raw have apparently since disbanded given that the group’s Facebook page is no longer activated.Back to this ‘new’ Nasty Ratz, the group sounds much more confident on “Second Chance?”. Rhythm section is tight keeping the pace sleazy n’ steady, Jordy Riot delivers ‘nasty’ solos indeed, and Jake has really improved his way of singing. While on the band’s first album his vocals were really ‘sleazy’, it was obvious he needed to moderate the power and wails. Now he’s more clear, still dirty-sleazy, but in control.Originally the Ratz were more influenced by the American sound, this time trhere’s a lot on Euro influences on these songs. Opener, the pretty killer ‘The Waste’ brings to mind current Crazy Lixx, and really good song that is one of the best in this musical sub-genre this year. There’s some Crashdiet on ‘Against The World’, but the band’s 80s US sound re-appear in the hairy sleazy ‘Let’s Drive’, with a melodious chorus and lots of gang backing vocals.Very commercial and tongue in cheek is ‘Pop Sh*t’, ‘Watch Your Back’ is darker yet the chorus infectious, and of course we need a power ballad, and ‘The Last Kiss’ does the trick. You may guess the style of ‘Street Kids’, whilst ‘Poetic Justice’ ends the album with more Sunset Strip swagger all over.“Second Chance?” borrows a lot of the best elements from the ’80s — which is of course a good thing — and you might well think that this album was crafted back during the glory days of hair / glam metal. However Nasty Ratz have added a healthy dose of new wave of Euro / Scandinavian sound to many songs, resulting into a more complete, and enjoyable package.
Line Up:
Jake Widow – vocals, guitar

Xriss String – bass
Randy Dee – drums
Tracklist:
01. The Waste
02. Against The World

Album:
Sleaszy Rider Records will release NASTY RATZ new album “Third Cut” dropping on October 4th. Produced by the legendary Martin Sweet of Crashdiet and mastered by expert Thomas “Plec” Johansson in the Panic Room, Sweden, this new 10-tracker is packed with raw energy and killer riffs. Swan Hellion, singer, guitarist of sleaze rockers BlackRain appears as guest.Songs like ‘Beat The Bullet’, ‘Beat The Bullet’, ‘Set You Free’ (co-written by Sweet) or ‘Sick & Twisted’ (feat Swan Hellion) are hard-hitting numbers remisncent of Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, Vain, and of course, CrashDiet. Martin Sweet play on closer ‘Demons’, also featuring John Wolfhooker‘s very own dynamic frontman, Martin Cupka. While at the core NASTY RATZ are an ’80s sleaze influenced act, we hear many adrenaline-pumping riffs more in common with hard rock from the Scandianavian factory. The band does not forget the hooks and catchy choruses, served with a street attitude yet as happens with all the records with Martin Sweet involved, the sound is clean & powerful.“Third Cut” amalgams everything needed to take NASTY RATZ to the next level: solid fun n’ catchy songwriting, improved musicianship and a stellar production for this type of rock n’ roll. It’s Euro sleaze, but with a hard rock nerve in the Scandinavian current sound.
