The spirit of the great eighties, captured in the modern studio.That is the essence of Boys From Heaven, a seven piece rock group from Denmark. The band, captivated by the sound of the late seventies and early eighties - with stadium rockers like Toto and Journey - write, record and perform epic and grandiose rock music featuring the likes of lush vocal harmonies, wide piano and synth hooks, fiery guitar solos and the cherry-on-top alto saxophone.Signed to Target Records in 2020, who will release the band's debut album titled THE GREAT DISCOVERY. The album has already garnered praise from critics, with Swedish Henric Wahlberg saying “Has the Danish AOR band Boys From Heaven made one of this year's best albums? In my opinion, the answer to that question is a resounding YES", while Spanish ViriAOR said the following about the production of the album:"The band decided to produce the album themselves, with lead vocalist Chris Catton spearheading the process as mixing engineer, and the results speak for themselves: a sound with the boldness of a record written in the 1980s and the hit of an album produced in 2020.”The album’s second single “Convictions” premiered in Gaffa, Denmark’s leading music journal, to much appraisal, with one critic saying “‘Convictions’ is a rocker. A song that swans on through on the back of some serious grit.” Boys From Heaven have signed on to Danish label Target Records, who will release the band’s upcoming debut album “The Great Discovery” on October 23.

The Danish AOR craftsmen refine their signature blend of 80s nostalgia and modern melodic sophistication, echoing the class of Toto and the soft rock sheen of the L.A. scene while retaining a distinctly Scandinavian touch. Produced by frontman Chris Catton and mixed/mastered by Erik Martensson, the album glows with luxurious arrangements, velvety keys and sax, pristine harmonies and melodies built to linger. "The Wanderer" captures Boys From Heaven at their most polished, atmospheric and emotionally resonant yet.
