Former Members of Metal Church / Vicious Rumors, Chinchilla and Ivanhoe have joined forces to bring the maximum of energy to the fans live.CAVE stands for melodic hard rock with slightly progressive influences, which makes the hearts of Queensryche to Van Halen fans beat faster.The name comes from guitarist Chris, whose basement studio was often dubbed a cave, where music was created over the years in sprawling jam sessions. The sessions started with Chris and Simon (co-producer) and various musician friends. At some point Roberto joined and after a few moments it was clear: The songs have to be recorded and published properly!For this none other than Steffen Theurer could be convinced to record the drums. However, it was clear that he would only play on the album, because he is more than busy with his main band. Now the question was for the right singer and after a short time of consideration Ronny Munroe was contacted. And the first shot was immediately a hit, Ronny joined in immediately after receiving demos.The only thing missing now was a permanent drummer. Here, Chris Schwinn could be aquired directly. The band was now complete.Live, guest musicians take over the role of keyboardist and second guitarist, because one thing is clear for CAVE: Playback is a no-go.CAVE therefore offers the average over 30years of experience of the musicians and the debut album already sounds like a best off album.

Hailing from Ludwigsburg, CAVE are no strangers to the music scene.They are a group of musicians who have been shaping the German and international metal landscape for decades. Founded by guitarist Chris Lorey, the band was born out of a vision to combine classic old-school Hard 'n' Heavy with progressive elements and modern production techniques. Their debut album, "Out Of The Cave", was released in 2024 and impressed both the press and fans alike. Shortly after its release, the band went on tour in Germany and Switzerland, impressing audiences with their live performances. However, having a singer from the US in a German band presented logistical challenges in this day and age. With heavy hearts, they parted ways with Ronny Munroe. However, the band did not give up, and after an amicable split, Germany's most underrated metal singer took over the microphone. Tommy Laasch, best known for his work with CHINCHILLA, is a well-respected figure in the German heavy metal scene whose style fits perfectly with CAVE's powerful, melodic sound. Now, the next chapter of CAVE is about to begin. Their second album, "...Into The Promised Land", will be released on 17 April 2026. The sound remains authentic, offering ten skilfully created and performed songs, drawing on the combined, long-standing experience of all the musicians. Fans of QUEENSRŸCHE, VAN HALEN, SAVATAGE, and MASTERPLAN can look forward to energetic hooks, epic melodies, and a production that is warm, modern, and uncompromisingly heavy.
