HARDBONE – 100% is not enough! 110% Rock 'n' Roll is what these five guys from Hamburg, Germany have to offer. In fact dirty and without frills. Just how this way of life, which became music has to be celebrated.With their 2010 debut album “Dirty 'n' Young“ they indicated a hard-line route of march just to up the ante with the follow up “This Is Rock 'n' Roll“ in 2012.In Spring 2014 they are going to come up with their third album titled “BONE HARD“, which has to be understood as a demand for setting balls on fire and going berserk.Musically this is being nailed to your forehead in the tried and true manner of Riff Rock 'n' Roll.Being presented on stage, the hormone-brimming songs and the guys themselves can unleash the pure energy, which they carry inside theirselves.

According to the band itself, *Hardbeat* is the best performance yet, both in terms of production and composition and in interpretation. Although this statement may seem cliché - as is often the case when promoting a new album - it explains itself here above all by a new dynamic brought in by her new guitarist Luca Rosnau. Arrived as a replacement for Tom Lindeman in 2024, he has integrated perfectly with his previous experience in the group's technical team. Luca has also given the composition of *Hardbeat* a new momentum and brought out an album of great variety with the work of main composers and founding members Sebastian Kranke (guitar) and Tim Dammann (vocals). Everything is included: from ultra-heavy blues to the driving shuffle to melancholic moods and crowded rock pieces. For the band, the album offers a sense of novelty while being familiar. The tried and tested formula remains unchanged: maximum cleaning, powerful riffs and a tighter rhythmic section than XS underwear. For the recording, the band has rejoined with the approach for their previous album "No Frills*". Once again, the tracks were recorded directly, perfectly capturing the essence of HARDBONE. The goal was to achieve an authentic and organic sound while remaining powerful and without concessions. As with the previous album, Eike Freese played an important role in creating this sound. The group appreciates this collaboration, which is both enjoyable and sophisticated - for all participants, the result is undisputed. The recording process was somewhat obscured by health issues of the band and their nearby surroundings, which ultimately affected the album's track selection. At the same time, this track also reflects the overall sound of the record. All in all, HARDBONE is very proud of this new plant, especially since the manufacturing process has not always been easy. Following the release of their previous album in full containment with COVID-19 - which prevented the CD from reaching its full potential - the band was more determined than ever to prove themselves, this energy is now immortalized and palpable when listening.
