Scythed is a Power Metal solo project by German musician Markus Tillmann, developed between 2022 and 2025. The main writing and recording took place from 2023 to 2025. With a background as a bassist in various bands and a growing focus on guitar since 2021, Markus composed the majority of the music and lyrics for the project.To bring the songs to life, he collaborated with vocalist Mau and drummer Jacques, whose performances helped shape the album’s final sound. Combining melodic guitar work, driving rhythms, and powerful vocals, Scythed blends classic Power Metal elements with a clear and personal musical vision.The result is a cohesive debut that showcases individual craftsmanship and strong collaboration.
