“Intelligent Music Project” is a Bulgarian rock band with exceptional international participation. Over the years, the band’s albums feature some of the most remarkable rock musicians in the world – Simon Phillips (TOTO / Protocol), John Lawton (Uriah Heep, Lucifer’s friend), Joseph Williams (TOTO), Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), John Payne (Asia), Carl Sentance (Nazareth), Richard Grisman (River Hounds) and others.The creator, producer and author of all lyrics and songs of “Intelligent Music Project” is Milen Vrabevski, MD – Bulgarian businessman, philanthropist and patron of the arts. He describes the cause of the band as follows: “I would like my children to grow up with the ideas that I share in my albums. And instead of lecturing them on these ideas, I use the language of music, which is the most universal language. “So far Vrabevski’s superband has released 5 albums: “Power of Mind“, “My Kind O ‘Lovin’ “, “Touching the Divine”, “Sorcery Inside” and “Life Motion”.The constant lineup of “Intelligent Music Project” includes some of the best musicians in Bulgaria:

“Fiction” is the ninth studio album by the super-group INTELLIGENT MUSIC PROJECT. The new piece of work features both talented Bulgarian musicians and internationally renowned guest artists, including legendary TOTO vocalist Joseph Williams, Nazareth frontman Carl Sentance, world-class drummer Simon Phillips (TOTO, Protocol), Richard Grisman from River Hounds, and Ernest Tibbs (Protocol).With its characteristic blend of TOTO-esque AOR, Melodic Rock, Classic Rock and classical music, “Fiction” takes listeners on a musical journey through dreams, courage, and personal choice. Each track tells its own story, exploring the inner strength required to overcome doubts and challenges, while finding comfort in love and the pursuit of freedom.Six of the songs were written by Dr. Milen Vrabevski, the founder and producer of Intelligent Music Project. Four tracks were composed by Biser Ivanov and Ivo Stefanov, with lyrics by Angela Rodel and Borislav Mudolov-Kosatkata. For the first time in an IMP album, Borislav Mudolov-Kosatkata joins as both lead vocalist and composer.Also, Carl Sentance (Nazareth) makes his debut as a songwriter specifically for Intelligent Music Project, contributing three tracks to the album. You can hear Carl’s hand on ‘Living This Way’, ‘Lightning Strikes’, and ‘Get On Your Feet’, all pretty killer melodic hard rockers full of drive. Oh, and please listen to the awesome Simon Phillips drum work on ‘Flying With You’.As usual, production is first class, and of course, always a pleasure to hear Mr. Joseph Williams too.
