A nostalgic yet refreshing dose of excellent polished female-fronted Melodic Hard with AOR touches.INVADED features a mix of palpable talents: vocalist Marita Hellem, guitarists Albert “Gold Top” Johansen & Alex “Locktight” Gregersen, bassist Sander Olsen, drummer and mix engineer Thomas “Mr Equalizer” Schjerve Mjønes, and manager and co-producer Mikael “Dynamo” Næss.All are experiended musicians, but we must emphasize that Hellem seems to be one of the most promising ladies in hard rock / metal. The most shocking fact about this divinely gifted songstress is that she comes from the black metal scene – she is ex- Manes, pioneers in the genre – but here Hellem delivers melodic, smooth performances.
