IMKT which is pronounced as I Am Katie is from near Stuttgart Germany.From five years old Katie attended music school and growing up in the 80’s by the age of eight she was singing in a choir inspired by bands such as Def Leppard,White Lion & Foreigner !In 2005 Katie formed her first band Anima whilst writing English language songs in her studio and performing in the southern region of Germany.Five years later she formed the band Kahira signing a deal with 7 US Music releasing three German language albums.In 2014 a special highlight in Katie's career was when she won a songwriting competition hosted by station Antenne.She was personally selected by Ritchie Sambora (Bon Jovi) to be the opening act at the Liderhalle in Stuttgart,which also resulted with her performing a song on stage with Sambora.”Sooner Or Later” the first solo English language album sees Katie going back to those 80’s roots.The album is produced by Michael Borman,which also features international songwriters and musicians.
