JET JAGUAR was born in 2014, founded by guitarists Sergio Güez and Diego Aragón. They soon recruited Jimmy Lozano as drummer and Jorge Ramírez as bassist / vocalist, thus forming the band's lineup.JET JAGUAR officially debuts on March 8, 2014, alongside Commando (Thrash Metal) and Wild Demise (Extreme Melodic Metal). Later, in April of the same year, the band released their first Demo, "Call of The Fight", which consists of 3 original songs.With this Demo, the band managed to share the stage with Skull Fist (CAN) and Striker (CAN). Likewise, the same Demo was re-released in cassette format, (Along with a bonus track) by Roots Active Records, from Thailand, making it reach countries like Malaysia, Italy, Chile, Spain, among others.In 2015 JET JAGUAR starts recording the band's first EP. Maxx Mendoza joins as vocalist (Jorge would remain as bassist). The EP "Zero Hour", consists of 5 songs and was released in February 2016.Later, in 2017 Diego leaves the group and Nehuen Pacheco enters his place. With this new lineup, JET JAGUAR makes its first national tour and achieves first place, both nationally and globally, at the WOA Metal Battle 2017 in Wacken (Germany).At Wacken Open Air they perform alongside bands like Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Accept, Europe, Kreator, Amon Amarth, Avantasia,Annihilator, Trivium, among others. Later they make their first European tour.

There's no doubt that a distinctive fighting spirit is an integral part of Jet Jaguar’s DNA. The four-piece band from Mexico are one of the most promising newcomers to the metal scene in 2025. They have survived dramatic line-up changes, the difficult lockdown years, and, you could say, the dramatic climax of a serious traffic accident during their tour with Anvil in autumn 2024. Ultimately, all of these challenges have helped the band grow tougher and more mature.The release of their second album, Severance, is set to demonstrate the importance of passion and perseverance for an ambitious metal act. “Over the past five years, we’ve had to overcome a number of setbacks, but we’ve continued to grow as a band, as instrumentalists, and as composers,” says founding member and drummer Jimmy Lozano. 'Since our 2020 debut, Endless Nights, we've risen to all those challenges and feel much stronger as a result. This includes some compositional innovations, but our style still consists of fast-paced songs with shredder guitars, technical masterpieces, and a commitment to traditional metal.'
