After a few line up changes the band released the Future To Past E.P. in 1996.The following full-lenght album Inside You, released in 1998, received recognition among the progressive metal fanatics. After the split-up in 2000 each member followed a solo career.Walter Cianciusi & Dario Parente, guitar players, rejoined forces in 2008 to start the School Of Rock project, one of the first italian music school dedicated exclusively to R’n’R tuition. After 13 years of silence Walter & Dario decided to come back with a new heavy metal album. The work is built around the sophisticated and solid drumming of one of the progressive metal masters: Scott Rockenfield (Queensrÿche, Call Of Duty). The singer is a true AOR legend: Göran Edman, former member of Yngwie Malmsteen & John Norum bands. The first singles from the album - Primetime - and - Sink Deep In A Fairy Tale - are out now: check them out on iTunes & Amazon. The band signed a worldwide deal with LION MUSIC.

Album:

The new album from European progressive supergroup HEADLESS, who showcase their blend of catchiness with heavier progressive metal influences on this latest record.M-Theory Audio will be releasing “Transitional Objects”, the newest album from European progressive metal group HEADLESS. The group - composed of members who have performed alongside the likes of Yngwie Malmsteen, Geoff Tate (ex-Queensryche) and Elegy - showcases their blend of catchiness with heavier progressive metal influences on their latest record. This new opus (which was produced by Walter Cianciusi) will be released on CD and limited edition (300 copies) of Purple Grimace coloUr vinyl. HEADLESS was founded in 1996 by cousins Walter (guitars) and Enrico Cianciusi (drums). The original incarnation of the band released the 1996 EP “Future to Past” and the 1998 full-length “Inside You” before disbanding in 2000. Walter revived the name in 2011 with an entirely new line-up, centering their new music around catchy choruses, progressive metal technicality and Göran Edman's powerful vocals. That formula – aided by drummer Scott Rockenfield (Queensryche) – formed the basis of their 2013 comeback record “Growing Apart.” The album added to Edman's lengthy resume which began during the 1980s as a part of Swedish hard rockers Madison and Swedish Erotica; included stints during the 1990s as a vocalist for Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum (Europe); and continued with multiple groups into the 21st Century, most notably alongside members of The Flower Kings in the progressive metal band Karmakanic. Enrico rejoined HEADLESS in 2014, and subsequently contributed drumming duties on 2016's “Melt The Ice Away,” and the amazing 2021 album “Square One”.
