Noor is a Metal band from Montreal formed by Thomas Karam in 2018 (Singer/Lead Guitar).The lineup consisted of international students studying in Montreal. They were getting ready to record the first record when the pandemic hit. During the pandemic, the lineup split as the international students returned to their home countries. In the summer of 2020, Thomas puts together a new lineup and recruits Olivier Muck (Bass Guitar), Simon Jarmosh (Rhythm Guitar), Nicolas Moro (Drum & Percussion) and the band is back on track. During the multiple lockdowns, they record their upcoming first record and concept album; Mother's Guilty Pleasure, the songs initially being already written by Thomas for the past lineup. The project too large in scale would then make it impossible for a single record, so it was separated in two parts. Then the first record that would become ‘’Mother's Guilty Pleasure Part One'', would be recorded and produced with Nova Sounds Recordings, with great friend Anthony Lepage as a producer. The album was then released on the 13th of December, in 2023.Tthe young Canadians are delivering a greater than great combination of US Power and Progressive Metal, with some remarkable Speed and even some Tech-Thrash Metal elements in the mix.
