The collaboration between powerhouse Finnish vocalists Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast) and Netta Laurenne (Smackbound) is easily one of the most exciting musical alliances ever put together by the Frontiers label.The two ladies put together a storming melodic metal album with the collaboration of Nino Laurenne on guitars and Sampo Haapaniemi on drums.
Netta Laurenne (born 1980 in Pirkkala) is a Finnish singer, songwriter and actress.She has appeared on Finnish albums either as a guest or backing vocalist and has also released solo material.[1] She has also composed and written songs for other artists such as Suvi Teräsniska and Voice of Finland finalist Kim Koskinen.
Noora Louhimo (born 6 November 1988 in Rauma, Finland is a Finnish singer who sings in the band Battle Beast. Louhimo replaced Nitte Valo, who focuses on her family life, as lead singer of the band in August 2012.The first single with Louhimo, "Into the Heart of Danger", was released in Finland on 25 April 2013.In July 2019, Louhimo announced that he was recording his first solo album, which will be released on 5 March 2021 as Eternal Wheel of Time and Space. A single and music video of the same name was released on 5 February of the same year.

One of the most exciting new projects on Frontiers Music Srl, created by the label president Serafino Perugino, the collaboration between powerhouse Finnish vocalists Noora Louhimo (Battle Beast) and Netta Laurenne (Smackbound), under the banner LAURENNE/LOUHIMO , is finally back with the second album “Falling Through Stars”. This second chapter deliver a full-force metal assaults with the power to blow you away with rasps and soaring screams as well as delicate acoustic moments.LAURENNE/LOUHIMO offer listeners a mix of heavy metal and hard rock tracks that explores the variety of the genre, while maintaining a straightforward, easy-to-enjoy appeal. “Falling Through Stars” has shades of all eras of Rainbow here and there as well as Judas Priest and many other 80’s Icons of the style, all these influences are expertly filtered into Netta and Noora way of composing music. The idea about the possible collaboration between Netta and Noora came to reality once the pandemic started and cleared out calendars for both the artists, it felt like a perfect time to start the project and share all the common things they have, from the same original town to the similar idols and influences. The main highlights of the album are, naturally, the vocal melodies created and shared by Netta Laurenne and Noora Louhimo.The album has been once again produced at the Sonic Pump studio under the guidance of Nino Laurenne ( that also played the guitars and contributed to the songwriting) and the production is clear, powerful and gives the deserved value to the two stars here.
