Destiny Calls is a Greek Hard-Rock band formed on January 2024.DESTINY CALLS is a melodic hard rock band from Greece formed on January 2024 by four ex members of Flying Mercury. Founder / guitarist Spiros Fousekis (ex- melodic rockers Danger Angel), bassist Loukas Adamopoulos, keyboardist George Georgiou (also Innerwish, Rock’n’roll Children, Fortress Under Siege), drummer Petros Papapetros (also Vital Path), were joined by Angeliki Rossolatou, known for her appearances with Rock ‘N’ Roll Children, the Tribute live to Gary Moore and recordings with Vital Path.Regarding their musical tone, Destiny Calls brings to the listener quality female fronted melodic hard rock with ’80s touches, especially if you are a fan of bands like Saraya, Robin Beck, Pat Benatar & Tane Cain, while the musical routes come directly from icons like Whitesnake, Journey, Survivor and Europe.

DESTINY CALLS’s debut album ”Alive” indeed conjures the sound of these classic acts, with an European feeling characteristic from Greek Melodic Hard / AOR bands. Most of the songs are pretty guitar-driven, with the right keyboard pinches, and Angeliki’s clean and powerful voice defining the sound.A well written, performed & produced album – it’s really nice to hear a new band from the genre with a woman at the mic, and coming from Greece, a scene with a profound love for melodic hard rock.
