Marty And The Bad Punch is a award winning international studio & recording project lead by german songwriter & guitarist Marty Punch. Two albums have been released. Moon Over Baskerville (2014) and Walk A Straight Line (2020).The new untitled 3rd album MARTY AND THE BAD PUNCH is due to release March 2025.As Marty says: "The new third album feels like a complete fresh start – with a new killer lineup, a new logo, and a higher-quality production that features more rock and guitars. Also featured on the new album is frontman & singer David Cagle US (JK Northrup / David Cagle „That’s Gonna Leave A Mark“, MelodicRock Records). The first single release is called „Zakopane“. It’s about a place and an unforgettable encounter that should remain in Marty’s heart forever.The single will be released digitally on all download and streaming sites worldwide and already shows the many facets and love from Marty for Melodic Rock. Highlight of the single is the legendary guitarist Tommy Denander SE, one of many guests of the album. „Walk A Straight Line“ is a time travel through the most beautiful time of Melodic & AOR Rock. In addition to beautiful ballads you can also find incredible AOR Rock songs and country anthems!Many international stars such as David Cagle US, Sarah Straub GER, Robert Karasek GER, Martin Motnik US, Carsten Enghardt GER, JK Northrup US, Tommy Denander SE, Frank Panè GER and Bruce Kulick US can be heard on „Walk A Straight Line“ , Recording and Mix Carsten Enghardt, and the final touches were given to the album by mastering engineer Dennis Ward US.

Great new album.Marty Punch, guitarist and songwriter from Munich, has put more than an exclamation point on the rock scene with his first two self-titled albums, "Moon Over Baskerville" (2014) and "Walk A Straight Line" (2020). Already with his debut album, Marty won the prestigious "German Rock & Pop Award" in 2015 in four categories. The successor shone through with a great line-up with international greats such as Bruce Kulick (Kiss, Grand Funk Railroad), Frank Pané (Bonfire), Tommy Denander, JK Northrup, Sarah Straub, Carsten Enghardt, Martin Motnik (Accept), Robert Karasek and David Cagle and very mature songwriters. So it was no surprise that this album was also very successful nationally and internationally. In addition, the single "Better Be Strong", released by American singer Robert Tepper ("No Easy Way Out"), became a big hit on Spotify. Now, with "Marty And The Bad Punch", their third studio album stands in the starting holes. But you should by no means be fooled by the simple title. Because with his longtime friend Tommy Denandro by his side, he now has the perfect partner to start on a whole other level. Tommy is not only heard as a guitarist, but he also mixed the album, mastered, co-produced, plus played other Instruments. The songwriting was again 100% done by Marty himself, who also produced the album. Marty played all his guitars in Sweden at Tommy's studio. In August 2023, the strings for the ballad and second single "Have Faith" from Stockholm Strings (feat. Anna Dagar, Jonna Inge and Hanna Eckström) were laid down at the legendary ABBA studio (RMV Studios). This album already gave goosebumps when played by all parties involved. Tommy then played Abba's legendary Benny Anderson piano parts on the wing, which was also an absolute magical moment. Both can also be found in the "Have Faith" video. Alongside Marty and Tommy, the Bad Punch family on the new album impresses with singer Dan Byrne from Liverpool, who is regarded as one of the most exciting and respected singers in Europe, and not just because of his charter episode. Joining Basslegende Tony Franklin (The Firm, Blue Murder) and exception generator Josh Devine (One Direction/Levara) is a new faction of rhythm that meets even the highest standards. Musically, fans of the first two albums can embark on a continuation of their chosen path. Melodic rock music with a slightly American influence, but this time with more skirts and even more guitars.
