Formed in 2021, TELMA has rapidly become a very active player in the Greek Underground music scene.Telma is an alt/groove metal band from Greece.They started in 2021 based on their passion for heavy music and a strong purpose to give voice to the internal conflicts that everyone fights, through their songs. The five-member band manages to offer a unique mix of old school vocals, heavy guitar and bass riff together with refined, groovy drums.Telma is influenced by bands such as Pantera, Metallica, Slipknot, Trivium, Alice In Chains, Linkin Park and Godsmack.With their unique sound and captivating live performances, they have intrigued the ears of the audience & garnered critical acclaim. Their journey kicked off with the release of their debut album, marking the start of an extraordinary musical adventure.TELMA's debut album was a pivotal moment for the band, showcasing their distinct musical style and lyrical depth. Following this release, TELMA embarked on an ambitious journey of live performances, solidifying their reputation as a must-see live act.Over the past 3 years, TELMA has performed a remarkable number of shows throughout Greece, including two national tours. Their dynamic stage presence and energetic performances have captivated audiences, making each show a memorable experience. TELMA's success in Greece led them to embark on a Balkan/European tour, where they expanded their reach and connected with new fans across the region.Looking ahead, TELMA is gearing up for an exciting new chapter. These videos will be part of their highly anticipated second album, set for release in Spring 2025. Released through Dear Rockheads, on February 28, 2025, Greek modern metal outfit TELMA is set to release its sophomore studio album entitled "Awakening".Building upon their 2021 debut, "Eternal", which delved into the inner struggles of humanity, "Awakening" takes a broader, more socially conscious approach. The album addresses pressing global issues such as the abuse of power, societal injustice, and gender-based violence."Awakening" takes the torch from "Eternal" which was dealing with the inner struggle of man and dives into the deep issues of this world.The thirst of power of the few that leads societies to war, people in despair and more hatred born. "Awakening" talks about social injustices, gender violence, and issues that have always been around but have now come to the surface in our country and across the world.All deriving from the same root, our futile thirst for power and control of others. But in all this darkness, we do not give up and we stand and live our life the way we choose.Despite the waves that hit us, we have to embrace reality and fight together. That is the whole point of this album, that is the point of the "Awakening".
