A Canadian rock band from Quebec! The band was founded by François Babin a.k.a. (Bab’s) vocals and Junior Bourcier lead guitar. The band picked up speed with the arrival of drummer Alex Guilbault and bassist Nolan Babin.Born from the fusion between François Babin and Junior Bourcier in 2015, the band quickly evolved with the addition of Yves Maltais on bass and Alexandre Guilbault on drums in 2020. They now form a quartet known for their powerful stage presence and energetic music. On stage, they create a wave of rock that delights fans with their original compositions.

A big hard rockin’ locomotive has set off from its home station in the province of Quebec, intent on bringing its cargo of powerful songs and face-melting live shows to audiences across Canada and beyond.On their self-titled debut album, ATOMIK TRAIN brings back the classic hard rock & metal sounds with a dose of modernity from contemporary bands of the 21st century thrown in for good measure. The talented quartet came together when a pair of musicians from the Quebec hard rock/metal scene, Junior Bourcier and Francois Babin, decided to collaborate with the intent of making metal music for the masses – straight ahead bangers, lyrics that connected with the hearts and minds of everyone, and songs that would translate even more powerfully when performed live.”Atomik Train” is a full-throttle ride through thunderous riffs, relentless rhythms, and anthemic hooks. Produced by John Webster (Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue), the album features 11 explosive tracks, including the lead single “Back on Earth,” promising to climb rock playlists worldwide via Crown X Recordings.The two opening tracks “Supersonik Speedway” and “Destination” are powerful and energetic songs that immediately grab your attention and doesn’t let go. They’re built on driving rhythms, huge guitar distorted riffs and strong aggressive vocals that feel both raw and melodic but are perfectly controlled and exhilarating. A kick ass way to start the album off.“Back on Earth” (not a cover of the Ozzy Osbourne song) shows ATOMIK TRAIN’s versatility shifting to a power ballad with emotional depth and slower tempo morphing from intimate verses to a powerful anthem-like chorus, and features a face melting guitar solo compliments of Junior Bourcier. This guy kills with his guitat work all over the album.Flirting with a more bluesy vibe, “Long Way Down” delivers a soulful and expressive melody with a nice shuffling rhythmic pattern with a ’70s inspiration. Back to a rockin’ and rolling good ole party time, “Playground” is a high energy romp with harmonic hooks and a contagious chorus that’ll get you reminiscing back to beach parties and cruising with the top down. The song reminds me of Extreme somehow.The album ends with the fast paced grooving track “Deal with It” sprinkled with an effervescent vibe and feel-good rocking attitude.ATOMIK TRAIN rocks successfully mixing classic riffs with an updated sound, adrenaline-fueled songs and a superb guitar work. Seriously, Junior Bourcier is an axe-man to keep an eye on.
