Hounds are an Heavy/Power Metal band born in 2016 from an idea of Massimo Ventura (Vocals/Guitar), Marco De Fabianis (Keys) and Enrico Cairola (Drums). At first the aim of the project was purely to have fun mainly covering the songs of the great Savatage, without any assumption to play live and even less to record an album. Later, when Stefano Paparesta (Bass) and Alessandro Zelferino (Guitar) came, the band spontaneusly found new inspiration and ideas to create its own original music, clearly inspired by the masters of Hard and Heavy, among which the alrady named Savatage, Judas Priest and Rainbow to name a few and 80's US Power Metal.

Hounds are a italian Heavy/US Power Metal band born in 2016.Their music is mainly inspired by the great masters of Heavy Metal and 80s US Power Metal, including Judas Priest, Savatage and Virgin Steele.In 2017 They recorded the EP "Hounds"; in 2020 they joined Punishment 18 Rec. roster and finally released their first full-length "Warrior of Sun", officially becoming part of the NWOTHM scene.The new album is a great step forward, the focus is a more epic sound. In Italy, HOUNDS shared the stage with bands like Alltheniko, Airborn, Drakkar and also Necrodeath. The band is also looking forward for concerts not Italy only - hey Bookers, that's you job now! Bring the band to our stages and let them tell their 'old epic stories'.Date of release 21.11. 2025.
