Wild Rose has been rockin' for over a decade. The original idea was sprung in 2004 by Andy Rock. A lot of soul-searching was required initially, as it was essential to find a suitable line up to harness the stylish and polished mellow sound of a quality A.O.R. Band. Finally, after two years and several line up changes Wild Rose settled on the line up today, introduced to an unsuspecting public back in 2006, with quality songs composed by Andy Rock.2007 Wild Rose released their first promo single CD entitled "It's All About Love" which contained the hard hitting title track and "Too Late", tracks that rapidly became accepted and loved by the A.O.R. audience. During the same period Wild Rose were picked up as support on Talisman's Farewell Tour in Hellas.At the beginning of 2008, two members took a break from Wild Rose to take care of their military obligations. The band was put onto hold for a while and Andy Rock continued to work on the song material. They returned in mid 2009 and recorded a 10 track demo CD with tracks written by Andy Rock and Dirty Haris.These songs matured through the rehearsal process and ended up in professionally recorded versions on the band’s debut album “Half Past Midnight” which was finally released on 10 October 2011 on the Retrospect Records label and received great results in the A.O.R. specialized press. The band also performed two successful live shows in Athens and Thessaloniki to support their debut album and received a great response and applause from the Hellenic audience.December 2011 and "Half Past Midnight" hits the Best Debut Release / Newcomer of 2011 on Heavy Paradise.January 2012 and Wild Rose took part at "Brave New Love: A Tribute To Alien" project covering Alien's well known track "Feel My Love".March 2012 and Wild Rose performed at Rosewood Festival II along with bands like Newman, Work Of Art,Konkurent to name a few, taking rave reviews from the music press.Later on 2012, the band has worked on new songs and recorded their second album “Dangerous” which was released on 22 February 2013 on the AOR Heaven label. This release was produced & mixed by Andy Rockand co-produced by Wild Rose between December 2011 and September 2012 at WR Studios, Thessaloniki, Hellas and is the first to feature new main vocalist David A. Saylor (Push UK).Wild Rose “Dangerous” receives rave reviews worldwide from the press and in June 2013 hits No.1 on import sales in Japan (BURRN Magazine).August 2013 and Wild Rose debut album Half Past Midnight hits SOLD OUT on the Retrospect Records label. Hit 'N' Run has been recorded at EVO Studios, Evosmos, Hellas except vocals recorded at Front Room Studios, Birmingham, U.K. and keyboards recorded at W2R Studios, Chios, Hellas between September 2013 and January 2014. Hit 'N' Run was mixed & produced by Andy Rock and mastered by George Aspiotis at Studio Aspiotis, Athens, Hellas and consists 11 stellar songs, pure AOR sound replete with glorious melodies, catchy choruses, emotional vocals, lush keyboards, killer guitar riffs and powerful drums.October 2014 first single "Through The Night" from the album "Hit 'N' Run" hits #1 on Classic Rock Chart Week #40 - 2014 as first week appearence on the charts of Melodic.net

Greek band WILD ROSE re-release their second album "Dangerous" from 2013 with an extended booklet and four bonus cuts featuring Mark Thompson Smith on vocals and original guitar player John Bitzios as "Too Dangerous". Lion’s Pride Music is re-releasing the second album from Greek AOR band WILD ROSE – 2013’s Dangerous, fronted by the late David A. Saylor – in remastered form and including 4 bonus tracks, re-titled “Too Dangerous“. The bonus cuts feature Mark Thompson Smith on vocals and original guitar player John Bitzios.With this album Wild Rose not only perfected the songwriting, also the inclusion of awesome British singer David A. Saylor (ex Push UK) has given the band a magnificent new dimension. Additionally, the guitars sound sharper than before, the keyboards color the songs in a meaningful way, and the rhythm section drive these catchy tunes with passion and ardor.The quality of the album is down to principal songwriter Andy Rock (guitars), who has hit the nail on the head when writing songs in this style; fair enough the band has a traditional melodic rock sound steeped in the genre’s Eighties heyday but he does it SO well. It is also one of Saylor’s standout vocal performances while the keyboards are to die for.“I Can’t Stop Lovin’ You” has an infectious synth line that hits you from the off and has a warm vocal performance from Saylor. A hook-filled radio friendly track with a sing along chorus. The extremely radio-friendly “Awake” meets Starship with some breezy Chicago sounds, while the rousing sing along mid-tempo ballad “Tonight” features great tinkling keyboards and fantastic melodious guitar licks. Be sure to keep an ear out for the awesome guitar riff on the chorus.The dreamy, melancholic rocker “Is This Love” is one of the highlights. Full of hooks and cool keyboard flurries, Saylor delivers the heartwarming relationship words with soul and tenderness. I think this song would be immense live. The catchy, golden AOR rock of “Not A Day Goes By” closes the album impressively with its huge chorus, heavenly keyboards and excellent vocal harmonies.With “Too Dangerous” Wild Rose has ticked all the right AOR / MR boxes. This is a classy recording full of wonderful keyboard fills, infectious guitar riffs and great rhythms that draw you in. A perfect example of radio friendly ’80s AOR.
