Chris Adler met James LoMenzo in the all-star "covers" band Hail!, while they were touring the middle east. He was already collaborating with Myrone on demos, and he sent them to James. Finally he also met Girish during a six-week clinic tour of India in the fall of 2019.
Girish Pradham : Vocals - Girish is an established and well-known recording and touring artist across in India and resides in Bengaluru. His band Girish and The Chronicles made international headlines earlier this year with their album ‘Rock the Highway’
Myrone : Guitar - Myrone is an LA based Producer/Guitarist who pioneered the "Soft Shred" genre. In the last six years, he has self-released seven albums and two EP's of instrumental guitar music, and racked up millions of Spotify streams. In addition to his own recordings, he has collaborated with Rivers Cuomo (Weezer), SZA, Little Boots, Michael Christmas, and Deaton Chris Anthony. Most recently, Myrone was Guitar #1 in the LA production of Rock Of Ages, the 29th-longest running show in Broadway history.
Chris Adler : Drums - Chris is a Grammy winning American metal drummer from Richmond,Virginia. Chris founded Lamb of God in 1994 and helped usher in what critics have dubbed the "New Wave of American Heavy Metal." Lamb of God’s discography with Chris includes multiple Gold records and Platinum DVDs as well as 5 Grammy Nominations. Chris received a Grammy for playing drums on legendary thrash metal band Megadeth's 2016 record Dystopia. Chris also toured with Megadeth in support of the record while juggling and occasionally combining tour dates with Lamb of God. As a session Drummer, Chris has collaborated and contributed to records with Ron Jarzombek, Protest the Hero (awarded a Canadian Grammy for the album ‘Volition’), Testament and Thaikkadum Bridge. James LoMenzo : Bass - James is a veteran touring/recording musician since his multi-platinum band White Lion In the 1980’s. In 2020, James is still at it. He is one of the most in-demand rock bass players in the world. He’s gone from playing bass in White Lion to Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society/Pride & Glory, Megadeth, Jerry Cantrell, David Lee Roth, Slash’s Snakepit, Lynch Mob (featuring George Lynch on guitar), Ace Frehey’s Comet and more. Recently he’s been the touring/recording bassist for the legendary John Fogerty and can be seen in the live concert film “John Fogerty : My Fifty Year Trip” recorded live at Red Rocks last summer.

“Lucky” is the upcoming new album by metal / hard rock supergroup FIRSTBORNE that sees renowned sticksman Chris Adler (Lamb of God, Megadeth), teaming up with singer Girish Pradhan (Girish And The Chronicles), who is one of—if not the—most talented new vocalists in modern hard rock/metal; but also bassist James LoMenzo (Megadeth, ex-Black Label Society) and virtuoso guitarist Myrone (real name Pat lukens).On “Lucky” the band explodes song after song. The style could be described as hard rock delivered with a metallic edge and intensity.The song ‘Shine’ is a prime example of what this group can do. Exciting, groovy, huge guitar solo and a certain suspense in the built up with Girish going all out with that superb voice. An open-ended swagger between Alder’s pounding kit parts and Myrone’s semi-funky clean to crunchy riffs push this track into standout territory, Girish vocally channeling his best myriads of Robert Plant meets Paul Shortino cadences.This is old fashioned guitar driven hard rock with a big touch of metal and a guitarist that at the exact moments manages to make the difference and create some overdrive. And the fact that Girish has that immense vocal capacity that not many singers have is also a bonus.Explosive drumming matches Bush-era Anthrax energy on the main hooks for “Wake Up”, Myrone carefully exploring the art of execution in slower to speedy lead break measures with class. “Heaven’s Return” as a quintessential semi-power ballad has the right Accept-like classical touches plus a surprising Queensrÿche-ish tempo change showcases some adept songwriting / performance skills that should stand the test of time.Historical / mythology topics also factor into some of the lyrical content with “Normandy” and “Prometheus”, the latter taking on an adventurous midtempo marching feel that once again contains the great guitar work / larger than life chorus harmonies which arena-level audiences savor.Chris’ snare snap captivates out of the gate with “Again”, maintaining dynamic interest through that sleaze punk angst closer “Minefield” – Myrone lifting a key verse from “The Trooper” / Iron Maiden to elevate the adrenaline.There are certainly no fillers on this ten-track album. It is a power trip, one that will make the fillings in your teeth shake from time to time. I am not the type to say that this should be played at maximum volume but for once I might make an exemption. Crank up this little hard and heavy monster, and get in the groove!
