The band began their work in the late '90s. In the beginning it had a first name that was Evil Side and then Duendes de Botas. The sound was more based on a heavy blues than a metal itself and the idea was to play covers of Dio, Black Sabbath, Purple and others.HIGH MOONLIGHT began its activities at the end of the 1990s and, like any band starting out, covered names such as Black Sabbath, Dio, Judas Priest and others.Gradually their identity was formed and the creation of their own songs became their priority. Since the beginning of its activities, the group has consolidated a solid and stable line-up, performing all over the state of São Paulo.It was only in 2016, with their participation in some compilations and the release of their EP ‘Arcturians’, that the quartet started to become relevant on the national underground scene.The band is currently preparing for the recording of its long-awaited debut album and, to this end, its line-up includes: Robert Guima on guitars, Rick on vocals, André Luiz on bass and Kleber Mendonça on drums.
