Debut album Never Too Late out now via Lions Pride Music.RockRoad, hailing from the vibrant city of Bacolod in the Philippines, was born in 2010 from the collective dreams and aspirations of a group of young musicians who shared a passion for music that transcended genres. With a blend of influences ranging from major ’70s and ’80s rock icons like Mr. Big Journey, Toto, Skid Row, to mainstrean metal legends Like Metallica and Megadeth, RockRoad consistently stood out from the local scene crowd.

RockRoad put out some singles on Spotify, and then recorded a full set of songs but only distributed among fans. In 2023 they achieved a remarkable milestone by signing a worldwide deal with Lions Pride Music, the distinguished record label based in Denmark.The album was remixed & remastered and released with the title “Never Too Late“. This RockRoad partnership with Lions Pride Music opens doors to a worldwide audience, allowing their music to resonate with fans of the genre across the globe.The opening track “Same Old Ways” immediately feels very familiar – melodies taken from the late ’80s songbook, timeless Melodic Rock but with an ‘exotic’ feel from the vocals.The album offers everything a Melodic Rock / AOR fan could want, from rockers to ballads, and all well written & performed. ‘Guardian Angel’, ‘Rock ‘N’ Road’, ‘Song For A Lifetime’, ‘We Are One’ are fine pieces, and while production isn’t first rate the remix done in Europe turn things much better.Musically these guys take inspiration from bands like Canadian Renegade, 8084, Alias, Dakota, Shooting Star, etc.“Never Too Late” is a feel-good record, melodic, with an exotic touch.
