SixFootSix is a metal band that likes to do it old school and the way we like it.Members of SixFootSix can be related to the bands Falconer, Art Nation, Taste, Destiny, Aldaria.SIX FOOT SIX was formed by Kristoffer Göbel, associated with acts like Falconer, Destiny and Aldaria. Also joining the project is Christoffer Borg from melodic rockers Taste, performing on and mixing their debut album "The Six Foot Six Project".Inspired by his childhood musical heroes and all the way to modern rock acts, Göbel decided to write these songs with a certain '80s / early '90s feel, while Borg provided his experience in this 'era' to shape the album's sound.There's several Swedish musicians adding their touch such as guitarist and singer Niklas Stålvind (Wolf), and vocalists Magnus Winterwild (Axenstar) and David Åkesson (Quantice), among others.Essentially, Six Foot Six deliver classic melodic hard rock with some edge here and there, with a little 'hard n' heavy' '80s feeling as well.Gobel is from the current Swedish metal scene, but as many musicians, grow up listening to '70s / '80s classic stuff, and at some point want to write and play the music he loved during his formative years.

Album releases December 8, 2023.Beggars Hill is a 2023 album by Six Foot Six and was released under the Scarlet Records label.Gothenburg-based SIX FOOT SIX – led by former Falconer’s frontman Kristoffer Göbel – have released a a video for ‘Tears’, third single taken from the new album ‘Beggar’s Hill’ to be released on December 8th via Scarlet Records.Pure anthemic heavy metal at its best: ‘Beggar’s Hill’ is the third Six Foot Six record and the most coherent of their works until this date.Influenced by classic bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica, it’s a guitar and vocal melody-driven album, but still with a powerful up-to-date sound.The catchy songs take you on a melancholic journey through salt-beaten winding seaside cliffs, medieval battles, decrepitude and abandonment, cinematic glimpses and the general state of the world – a planet of war, love, pollution and wonders!All drums are tracked by the legendary Snowy Shaw, as a special guest, and he puts his unmistakable mark on the entire album.special guest drummer on all tracks, Snowy Shaw (King Diamond, Sabaton, Dimmu Borgir, Dream Evil), Produced by Kristoffer Göbel and Christoffer Borg; mixed by Christoffer Borg , artwork by Frode Hovde (Aldaria, Confidential) , ‘Raise the Dead’ video directed by Patric Ullaeus (Revolver Film Company) . ‘Tears’ video directed by Daniel Wahlström (Heavy Groove Media) , first edition will be released in a 4-panel digipak , for fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Accept.
