WHISPER ALLEY were another bunch of Rock soldiers that were lost in the great Grunge-wars of the early nineties.Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, they toured the clubs, both as a headlining-band and support to acts like Dokken, Badlands, Great White, Quiet Riot, Bulletboys, Junkyard, Sweet F.A. Jet Boy, Arcade, The Scream, Jackyl, Rhino Bucket and Richie Sambora and their brand of hard-hitting Glam/Street was a distillation of acts like early Motley Crue, Skid Row (“Slave To The Grind” era) and Quiet Riot, packed full of shredding-Metal guitars, instant choruses and a whole load of attitude.

So we’ll live again those glorious ‘80s times with these WHISPER ALLEY recordings for the first time on CD, rock n’ roll from a time when the music was fun and the party never ended.Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona they toured the clubs, both as an headline-act and support to the likes of Bulletboys, Quiet Riot and Great White. Their brand of hard-hitting Glam Metal was a distillation of acts like Motley Crue, Skid Row and Quiet Riot, packed full of razor riffs, instant choruses and a whole load of attitude.The CD, called “Up Yer Alley”, contains 10 original songs: 6 tracks taken from the 1992-tape “Disturbing The Piece” + 4 unreleased additional tracks recorded in 1993. Vol. 15 of the “Lost US Jewels” series, as usual limited to 500 copies.WHISPER ALLEY were another bunch of rock and roll soldiers that were lost in the grunge wars of the early Nineties, a band seemingly out of time and, according to some record labels, out of touch. But we know differently to that, and with grunge proving to be a passing fad, bands like WHISPER ALLEY are proving to be timeless.They flew in the face of adversity, bucking the trend for flannel shirts and depressing songs, instead opting for the optics marked “nothing but a good time, all the time. You’re all invited to the party, so dress to impress”…They paid their dues and what they left is a bunch of great rockin’ songs, here presented in the best sonic way. Limited to 500 copies, “Up Yer Alley” is almost sold-out.
