Energema is a Power Metal band from Colombia, founded by the composer, guitarist and sound engineer Nicolas Waldo, official artist from Ibanez Guitars , Blackstar amps , Shark Tooth Picks , Joyo tech and Rotosound strings from UK.ENERGEMA's debut CD, "The Lion´s Forces" will be release by the european label SLEASZY RIDER RECORDS (Whitesnake, Motorhead,Place Vendome, etc) from Greece on 2016.

As the years have gone by, Latin American Metal has grown stronger and stronger, both in quality and in the number of bands that stand out; however, something that still hits this sector of musicians hard is the monetary or resource factor that makes it difficult for them to offer the world a work of quality or at the level of the great productions offered by the elite bands within this beloved genre and sub-genre.However, there are bands that have unquestionable talent and that, breaking down barriers, manage to offer quality work, just as the band that I have the opportunity to analyse today has done with their most recent album. They have managed to sign with the Russian label Metalism Records of certain recognition and trajectory, which already speaks to us of the recognition and potential that has been latent in their work.The name that figures as its strongest pillar in the band is the guitarist Nicolás Waldo who since it was founded in 2015 has kept the ship against all difficulties, his companions who have been with him for some time are Camilo Duarte (NORSENSE PREMONITION) on bass, Julián Villwolfs on drums and with a little less time, but no less important Jeff Castro on rhythm guitar and the new member on vocals Ryan Thompson.This new production is based on the novel of the character Van Helsing, who is the hunter of vampires and other monsters, where there is a struggle between good and evil. Although this fictional character has his real origin in the mid 1700s, when there was a scientist who denied the supposed attacks of vampires.The work itself is short, adapting well to the measure of an Ep, considering that there are few themes included, giving also some prominence to the intro, outro and interludes that I will break down a little later. Focusing mainly on fast Power Metal with a lot of neoclassical influence. So let's get down to the nitty-gritty of this work.
