Bio:
Back in the late 80’s the Bash Street Kids were regulars on T.V, radio as well as recording with Bill Wyman in the Rolling Stones own studio. Since they split in 1990 all the lads have remained busy, writing and performing. None more so than front man Richard Taylor, who is currently enjoying huge success as the voice for Steve Harris' British Lion, with massive worldwide album sales.Keyboard player Kirk McLeod travels the world with renowned tribute act Think Floyd.Lance Fickling on Bass Guitar has been busy as a much in demand session player, as well as performing live with Agent Orange, Floating Greyhounds and Ron Sayer Jnr to mention just a few.Meanwhile Guitarist Mark Holmes and Drummer Paul Hale have stayed busy touring and recording with East of England favourites The Buster James Band.In 2016 80's rock band The Bash Street Kids will be returning to the stage celebrating their 30th anniversary.
Album:
Rare melodic debut and last full-length album.A really hard to find melodic album from this hard rock / AOR band from England. The album is imbued with a melodic 80's sound...with strong keyboards and great vocals. The second melodic song "Crazy About You" is great and the opening song "Nothing Go-o-o-d Lasts Forever" is not bad either. The last track is the understated ballad "Through The Wire" which I also really like.A rare album full of tunes that I highly recommend to anyone who fell asleep in the 80's like I did.
