Ferreira is a band fronted by Marco Ferreira (Goodbye Thrill, Venturia) on the veins of Harem Scarem, Ratt, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, early Queen, Mr. Big, Dokken. Line-up: Marco Ferreira – guitars, vocal and keys, Alex Ferreira (Goodbye Thrill) - Drums and Backing vocals, Dario Seixas (touring and recording with Jack Russel's Great White, Firehouse, Crown of Thorns, Goodbye Thrill) on Bass and backing vocals.The band's focus has always been on guitar riffs, big choruses, lots of harmonies and huge backing vocals....high energy songs all the way. Marco, Brazilian resident in US since 1996, has being putting music out as Ferreira since 2002 with the release of "Fallen Heroes" under the label Shire Records label. In 2009 the second album "Working Overtime" was released, followed in 2010 by the third release "Better Run!". Last was "Are You In?" in 2011.Marco is also known by his other projects such as the singer of the French progressive metal Venturia with their debut "New Kingdom" in 2006 and 2009 with their second release "Hybrid" (with DVD live in Geneva) both under the label Lion Music; and of course singer/guitarist and main songwriter of the US band Goodbye Thrill with three albums: 2007 (S/T) and "Keepsakes" (double with live acoustic DVD) and "Outrageous" both released in 2010 under Kivel Records label.V was produced, mixed and mastered by Marco Ferreira at Playrec studio in NY.

FERREIRA is the solo project by vocalist / guitarist Marco Ferreira, known for his work as member of very good melodic rockers Goodbye Thrill, Venturia, and others. This 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic with NY in quarantine lockdown for almost 4 months, Marco found the time for finishing “Come And Get It“, his sixth album under the FERREIRA moniker, melodic rock songs influenced by the likes of Harem Scarem, Ratt, Journey, Eric Martin, etc.“Come And Get It” shows Marco Ferreira’s considerable talents not only as songwriter and performer but as producer as well – he has produced several melodic hard rock acts – however here’s helped by producer Ian Duarte to avoid repeat himself in terms of sound.Opener ‘Forever More’ proves that Marco is no mere copyist: there’s an inventiveness in the production that sets him apart from his peers and gives his anthemic brand of AOR / hard rock a unique edge. ‘Forever More’ finds bright and breezy guitar lines entwined by Marco’s warm vocals while the hefty rhythm section keeps the song tethered to reality. An earworm of the highest order this is the kind of tune that’ll haunt you forever more or at least until the discs stopped spinning.Marco sang and recorded all the instrumentation on this release yet the whole album has that ‘live’ band feel. However there’s room for a guest spot and vocalist Gus Monsanto adds his undeniable talent to the bluesy ‘We Don’t Need A Plan’ and the all out rocker ‘Ashes In The Dust’.‘Ashes…’ in particular would make a great driving song and would make the perfect companion to a road trip across desert plains beneath a bruise coloured sky.‘Heart Wide Open’ swings like a huge pendulum and packs a hefty punch for a thoughful slab of melodic rock. There’s something very uplifting and life affirming about Marco Ferreira’s soaring music and that’s no more evident than on the groove laden ‘At First Sight’ which seems perfect FM radio fodder.Foot is firmly on the pedal for the racy ‘Higher’ and what really links Marco to his influences is a strong writing sensibility that ensures each song is like a mini movie.Catching me by surprise with its heavy punch, ‘Showdown’ sways like a welterweight boxer: muscular yet fleet of foot it’s raucous solo mid-song is the icing on the cake. Producer Ian Duarte has done a great job and has given Marco a huge sound and it’s put to good use on the spacious ‘Things We Said’. Closing the album is an acoustic rendition of ‘At First Sight’ which finds ‘Come And Get It’ ending on a rather thoughtful and whimsical tone.
