2006-2007
The first period of the band Jakks recorded their first EP and began the recording of their first album in Spanish "Fuego en tu piel". He also participates in a commercial for the Personal company
2008-2009
The band embarks on a tour to present their first album playing in various cities such as Rosario Montevideo, the Buenos Aires suburbs, parties such as the Glamnation Roxy Arcos, Roxy Live, Crobar, Rumi and an important show saying goodbye to their first album in the now defunct Super Rock before more than 300 people.
2010-2011
During part of 2010, the band released with the English label Z Records the version of Fuego en tu piel in English (album), having excellent repercussion of international criticism in the United States, Europe and Japan, putting the band in a place of great importance as a revelation of Latin American hard rock. Jakks finishes positioning himself in Argentina supporting Vince Neil (Motley Crue) and Tracii Guns (LA Guns), Jakks also participates in commercials for 7up, Citroen, two TV appearances on channel 13, and closing 2011 alone on The Roxy Live . During this time the band pre-produced and recorded their second album "Gritos en la noche". They visited Rosario, Montevideo and the city of Asuncion, Paraguay again.
2012-2018
2012 kicks off as the support of Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks) and he releases his second album in online format presenting the theme "Images and Words" as a cut. He closes the year by performing alone in La Capilla filming this concert in multicameras. In 2013 they released a special edition of Screaming at Night that is only sold in Japan, they played at The Roxy Glamnation together with Cirse and Coverheads, and they played for the first time in hard rock Buenos Aires. In 2014 The band is dedicated to taking a break after 7 uninterrupted years, where they film the video clip Never Again and record the cover of Rata Blanca, Asesinos. In 2015 they recorded the English version of "Screams in the night" and performed in a single show in Capital Federal. In July 2016, the band celebrates its tenth anniversary in federal capital at Hard Rock Buenos Aires. After this show, bassist Leonardo Adamini is no longer part of Jakks. The celebration continued with the band performing for the first time in the USA at the mythical Whiskey a Go Go in Hollywood, California with excellent repercussions with Marcello Berwart as guest bassist. 2016 ends with a show in the city of Rosario, with Juan Pulpo Ventoso as guest bassist and exactly a decade after Jakks' debut show (12/16/06 in Acatraz). During 2017 the band performs part of the pre-production of their third album. They make a unique show in Buenos Aires debuting with a new line-up: Alec on bass and vocals, Cristian on guitar and backing vocals and Bonnie on drums. The release of the band's 4th album is expected in February 2018, the second in English "Scream" and for the second time in the USA in Whiskey a go go with the band Bulletboys. The 5th and 6th album of the band, in Spanish and English, are expected to be released by mid-2018.

Formed in 2006, JAKKS is one of the few bands from South America still playing the kind of glammy melodic hard rock that rules the airwaves during the second half of the 80s.“Scream” is their latest album with English lyrics / songs capturing the hooks and catchy choruses from a bygone era that never will die.Jakks supported the likes of Vince Neil (Motley Crue), Tracii Guns (LA Guns), Bulletboys, Michael Monroe (Hanoi Rocks) to name few and in recent years played the LA club circuit (including the Whiskey A Go Go) like if time frozen in 1987.Rocking songs like ‘Screaming In The Midnight’, ‘Images And Words’, ‘Anger’ or ‘In The Darkness’ takes you back to glory days of the genre and while obviously influences abound – think Dokken or Cinderella to Poison and Firehouse – the guys add their own spin with a lot of attitude.Of course they serve a solid power ballad in the form of ‘Only Your Love’ – none album in this genre is complete without it.Very well composed, arranged and produced, “Scream” is just another proof that Eighties glam metal / melodic hard rock is still alive and kickin’, and doesn’t matter its geolocation, this rock sub-genre has no boundaries.
