Highway Saints began in 2008 when Richmond, VA drummer Chris Strickler & guitarist Patrick Verdi began collaborating on a new sound that would shake up the static music scene and put great songs, musical prowess, and stage presence back to the forefront. Taking its foundation from bands like Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace & Nickelback and combining those influences with an alternative style similar to Hoobastank, Story of the Year & Anberlin, the Saints manage to blend hard rock anthems, timeless feelgood tracks, and heartfelt ballads, without abandoning their heavy rock roots.
