Band created in 2021 with the intention of recovering the sound of classic Heavy Metal, with influences of the big bands (Priest, Saxon).Spanish five-piece heavy metal band, Sons of Cult will release their debut album ‘Back to the Beginning’ on January 5th, 2023, via Fighter Records.

Uncomplicated and unreserved head-bangers that take inspiration from the likes of Saxon, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Iron Maiden and so much more.It’s not 2023 according to Sons of Cult, it’s 1983 and heavy metal rules the world.Of course, that does mean it isn’t exactly fresh or original sounding. However, that’s not what most will focus on. Instead, the focus is on how enjoyably straightforward and simple Sons of Cult’s heavy metal soundscape is. Good riffs, solid soloing, powerful vocals, groovy energy, hefty melodies, and dramatic intensity.Sons of Cult have it going on, and that’s reflected in the ten tracks of this banging debut album. SONS OF CULT is a Heavy Metal band created in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) at the end of 2020 by Vicente Payá (Unbounded Terror, Golgotha, Bis·nte, Holycide, among others) on guitar, Jordi Segura on drums and Jaume Vilanova (Whoremagedon, War Pigs) on vocals.The three members wanted to go back to their old tastes in music and pay tribute to those mythical bands that they listened to so much when they were young, and still adore as of today, bands from the 80's such as Dio, Saxon, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Judas Priest, Scorpions, etc…Sometime later Vicky Offidani on bass and Dan García on guitar, joined their ranks and thus completing the lineup of SONS OF CULT. Jaume's special voice reminiscent of Ozzy, and some compositions that respect the old bands, plus the incorporation of Dan with his eighties "solos" very successful for that style, makes the band remind you of the best times of Heavy Metal classic we've all grown up with.Between the years 2021 and 2022 SONS OF CULT worked in their own songs and presented them live in their city. At the end of 2022 they entered the Black Night Studios to record what was be their debut album “Back to the Beginning”, recorded and mixed by Vicente J. Paya and Javier Fernández. It consists of ten own songs and a cover version as hidden track, and was released under the Fighter Records in January 2023."Desolation" is a new 4-song EP that continues the classic vintage Heavy Metal style, nothing more, nothing else… This one is coming out on a very limited edition to 200 copies on CD-Digipack in May 2024 again through Fighter Records.
