Bio:

In 1989, the band GRAFFITI was formed.Graffiti earned themselves a huge following, and played many venues across England, Ireland, U.S.A. and Europe.Formed in the late 1980s, the band musically got it right from the get-go, with Chase's classy vocals vying for attention with Marcus Flynn's flashy guitar work and Tony Stock's perfect keys, whilst bassist Jim Page and drummer Adrian Todd added their own touches to create many memorable moments. The two tracks from the 1989 single should have got them more attention, with the awesomely commercial 'Stay' hitting all the right Night Ranger and Danger Danger heights, and the thumping 'Rock The World' having an anthemic chorus that pops back into your head at regular intervals. Five well-recorded demos dating between 1990 and 1992 include the energetic 'Victory Guns' and 'Living It Up', the confident and upbeat 'Feels Like Heaven' and the superb ballad 'Fire And Flame', whilst the 'Big Noise' EP from 1990 shows a little more maturity with the classy 'Is It Really Love' and the beautiful 'Shine A Light'. 'If You Want Love' adds a little Rock and Roll swagger to proceedings and the impressive 'Heaven Waits' displays tons of energy and no small amount of technical skill, what's even more impressive is that it was recorded live in Poland. Suffice to say that there's plenty to love here and I'm sure these songs were at the forefront of the label guys' minds when they decided to put a plan together.

Rick Chase, a name previously associated with bands such as Mama’s Boys, Graffiti, Double Cross, Alibi and King's Call, touring with many top acts including Marillion, Gary Moore, Nazareth, Magnum, Phil Lynott, Status Quo, Styx, plus many more. Rick is the epitome of a top class rock singer. Classically trained and highly experienced, he has been compared to many top rock vocalists along the way, including Freddie Mercury and Paul Rogers. (True compliments indeed!).Styx lead vocalist Tommy Shaw complimented Rick on his “amazing voice”, which is true confirmation of Ricks' live ability.Following his appearance on the highly acclaimed Double Cross debut album.“Time After Time”, and touring with Dokken, Danger Danger and Styx in 2005; Rick joined forces with Bob Catleys' guitarist Vince O’Regan to form a new band called ALIBI, with their debut album “Misdemeanours” released on Escape Records in 2006. The second album entitled "Voice of reason" was released on 18th Feb. 2009 on Z Records.Rick has until recently been lead vocalist for Hannover-based band KINGS CALL.The band has performed at several venues around Germany with U.F.O.The album "Destiny" which was produced by Chris Tsangaridis is available Worldwide.Rick started his singing career back in 1982, when he joined Wolverhampton-based band STEEL. Although the band encountered various problems with Management and Record Companies, they achieved quite a following around the West Midlands, working with other artists such as Magnum, Hanoi Rocks, Phil Lynott and Barclay James Harvest. Moving on from Steel, Rick then joined Irish based band MAMA'S BOYS. After a stay of nearly two years, he was forced to leave the band due to illness. This was a real blow to his career, but after a long recovery period, he was able to continue singing. In 1989, the band GRAFFITI was formed. Graffiti earned themselves a huge following, and played many venues across England, Ireland, U.S.A. and Europe. With a lot of studio experience, including session work for radio stations, record companies, marketing companies and individual song-writers, recording in England, Ireland, Germany and Italy. Rick's many live appearances include gigs in the UK, Germany, USA and Poland, playing to live audiences of up to 55,000.
