The French hard rock band influenced by sleaze and glam metal.For the past decade, Sleazy Town have been painstakingly sketching out the contours of their destination, rehearsing and performing live (as they did last year on the main stage of the Mennecy Metal Fest 2023, alongside Paradise Lost and Sortilège). The destination is so complex to reach that the album is entitled Unfinished Business. Unfinished Business. Or rather infinite. Already, this double-album will be released on 26 April 2024, burnt into LPs, for posteritý, where the instrumental energy deployed and an explosive voice are fixed. Skillfully blending power, groove and melody, spurred on by their long-standing influences, Sleazy Town's four musicians deliver a sleaze-tinged hard rock sound all their own. From catchy riffs to furious melodies, Sleazy Town digs deep into the guitar whirrs and unleashes a resolutely rock 'n' roll bass, all hammered out by totally overexcited drums.Andy Dean is the voice and main character, supported along the way by JJ Jaxx on guitar and Macabre on bass, who back him up on backing vocals, while Julian reinforces the outfit on drums. They've also released an EP, Midnight Fight, featuring four original tracks and one cover, the classic 'Talk Dirty To Me' by 80s American glam metal band Poison. It's in these sticky, noisy corners that we hang out in Unfinished Business. Imagine a bar, like the Titty Twister, in the middle of the desert, where the members of Thin Lizzy, Mötley Crüe and Lynyrd Skynyrd would meet during the night, with Lemmy behind the counter, and southern rock, sleaze rock and glam metal blaring in the background.With their illustrious predecessors in mind, Sleazy Town went into the studio for three breathless weeks. Recording 24 universal tracks to form a coherent whole is the challenge of a lifetime in these fast-paced times, from single to single, playlist to playlist. In their Unfinished Business, the band pushes the envelope to create an inventory of the human soul through the 24 scenes of their full-length film.

While hailing from Europe, SLEAZY TOWN makes justice to its name as this four piece formed in 2011 are musically influenced by the American form of sleazy hard rock, southern rock, and even some ’80s Californian glam metal.The band released a couple of EP’s, but now are showcasing their music on not one but two full length albums in the digipak double disc “Unfinished Business“. Skillfully mixing power, groove and melody, along their long life influences, Sleazy Town deliver a hard tinged sleazy hard rock sound that is all their own.From furious riffs to catchy melodies, Sleazy Town digs into the whirring guitars and draws out a resolutely rock’n’roll bass, all hammered by totally supercharged drums. With a clean, polished production, we’re taken to the the Mojave Desert on ”Machine Gun Rodeo”, we spend the night with a “Downtown Queen”, we search for the Lord and his “Mystic Religion”, to end up in the streets on the LA Strip “Living Like A Hobo”.“Unfinished Business” it’s all classic, old fashioned bluesy hard rock rock, riff-driven, well composed and produced, and despite comprising no less than 24 songs, it keeps your foot tapping ready for the party and a cool beer at hand.
