Melodic Hard Rock-Band from Saarbrücken, Germany.SPELLBOUND was founded in 1987 by Aldo Milazzo, Arno Winter, Günter Weiß, Daniel Huth and Hans-Georg Tesch in Saarbruecken, Germany. The band's music was inspired by the idols of the hard rock scene of the time - but with an unmistakable style of their own, which has prevailed to this day.After numerous concerts in the Saarland scene, the band was soon considered an insider tip. With their own songs, SPELLBOUND got fans in near France, and in 1992 they went to Spain for 4.5 months, which was the beginning of their professional life. The impressions collected on tour were musically expressed in the first demo "Kiss the Road". The title song "Bad times running" quickly made it to the radio, and on their second tour in 1993, into the Spanish charts. Live performances of the band were even broadcasted by Spanish television stations.In 1994 they decided to conquer the Canary Islands, with over 30 gigs and increased presence in the Canary Canarian radio stations. After 5 months the band returned to the band returned to Germany and produced 1995 their first longplayer "Soul, Peace and Freedom", which still has cult status today. In Germany the guys attracted attention in 1996 and 1998 by winning the qualification for the Bundesrockfestival, where they represented Saarland.In 1997 the band produced the maxi-album "Passion and Pain", for the first time in cooperation with their new keyboard player Rudiger Forse, who was responsible for the orchestral arrangements of the songs from then on, and accompanied the band on their Mallorca tour in 1998.In 2001 another longplayer "Strange Land" was produced, which enjoyed perfect appreciation from critics. However, private and professional life caught up with the band, so they went separate ways shortly after the release.After 20 years SPELLBOUNDs Hans-Georg Tesch and Rudiger Forse celebrate the long awaited comeback with two new members: Jan Rinderspacher on bass and Michael Kohr on drums. The current program includes cult songs from the last 30 years as well as newly composed works that combine current chart rock with classic rock elements.
