A Malmö based AOR band, Time Gallery afforded the double honour of having their self-titled debut 1989 album be produced by the highly respected Keith Olsen and was be the first Western release on a Chinese record label. The album was issued on Keith Olsen’s own imprint Kore Records, distributed by Atlantic Records. Notably, Tommy Funderburk featured on backing vocals.Time Gallery followed up with the ‘Kaleidoscope’ album through Blackbird Music in 1992. Keyboard player Johan Stentorp later joined Pop band The Trampolines.

This 2019 early days see the reissue of one of the best CD's from the Swedish early Nineties Lite AOR factory: "Kaleidoscope", second and last album from TIME GALLERY originally released in 1992.For many years out of print, this is your chance to discover this album / band class.If one word define these guys style, it should be 'finesse'. Patrik De Vee vocals are crystal clear, in perfect pitch and with the right modulation for this type of music, while Frederik Bergengren is second to none with his sweet guitar solos and stupendous rhythm akin the great Michael Landau.Combining '80s AOR melodies ("The Feeling Is Gone") with power pop guitar chords ala Richard Marx ("Closer To Love", "Y.B.B."), heavenly harmony vocals ("Like Summerrain"), smooth WestCoast touches (the very TOTO-esque "You") and a dash of '80s Hi-Tech ("Lovesmash"), there's something for everyone here.With a superb pristine production, "Kaleidoscope" is chock full of memorable catchy hooks and choruses in the Scandinavian style. This reissue is not remastered but it sound million bucks.
