Snowblind is a Heavy Metal band from Medellin Colombia. Power trio with great riffs and sounds,Recording in Medellin - Colombia by Edison Gil,Produced by Rata Mutante Records 2021.Snowblind is a Heavy Metal band from the city of Medellín (Colombia) that was born on October 31, 2015.It all starts with the initiative of Pablo Vélez (Guitarist, vocalist and composer of the band), who contacts Mark Noize (Bassist, chorusist and composer) and Juan David Ruiz (Drummer) with whom the original lineup of the power trio is consolidated.The band begins a stage of rehearsals and coupling to enter Owl Studios in June 2016, where the first full-length of the band entitled Riding High is recorded, available in physical form and on the band's YouTube channel (snowblind rock) . This same year the first lyric video of the band (Clear Waters) is released.A few months later the band is contacted by SLO-BLO RECORDS by the hand of Guido Isaza, a renowned musician from the city, who incorporates the group to be part of a compilation entitled SOUL BOWL VOL. 7, alongside other bands from Colombia. , Venezuela and Russia.The band undergoes a change with Juan David Ruiz (Drummer) due to an accident that radically affects one of his shoulders and leads to his retirement from the band, giving way to Andrés Laverde, who arrives giving an essential touch to the sound of the project.The band would debut on November 19 of the same year (2016) at the Rock Stoner Fuzztival Vol 4, in which a very good presentation is given that would open doors to festivals such as Rock for the kids and other independent events in the city.At present the band has been signed by Rata Mutante Records for the second album "Breaking Out" which was released in 2021.
